Freakazoid! is an animated television show created by Warner Brothers that aired for two seasons inside 1995-1997.

Plot
A indicate's title character is the superhero alter ego of geeky teenager Dexter Douglas. Gaining his abilities from either the like outstanding computer bug, Freakazoid has enhanced strength and endurance, extraordinary speed, agility, and, alas, negligible numbers of sanity. These changes produce him the mighty & direful click for upholding freedom and righteousness, unless he decides to go look at the bear driving a motorcycle instead.

Dexter might vary into & away from Freakazoid at might using a words "Freak out!"& "Freak in!" (severally). Once non around Freakazoid mode, Dexter looks & acts totally formula, & his Sunnydale Syndrome-suffering family is unaware that anything has happened to him.

Characters
Enemies
Freakazoid! features the total of camp villains & enemies, including: A Lobe, the supergenius whose entire head appears to exist as the gargantuan brain (sonant by David Warner). Cave Guy, the thuggish blue caveman with upper-class diction, education, and taste. Cobra Queen, the previous cosmetics expert whose criminal activities involve snakes. Inside afterwards episodes, Cave Guy & Cobra Queen come two or three. Often complains all about a want of weak around her den until Freakazoid suggests having Japanese lanterns (which he after forgets to mention). Texas longhorn, the disappointed country-western singer who has undergone plastic surgery to resemble a minotaur. Armando Guitierrez, a human whose company designed a faulty chip responsible Freakazoid's creation (the cartoon rendition of Ricardo Montalban, voiced by the human himself). Candle Jack, the supernatural villain world health organization abducts anyone world health organization says his title aloud. Waylon Jeepers, a creepy little human world health organization created the Medusa Clock, which has the power to turn humans into stone. He too created the similar device that turned beavers into gold, & when summoned "Vorn the Unspeakable," a demon apparently according to Cthulhu.

Allies
Aiding Freakazoid inside his phantasmagorical battles come: Cosgrove, the compact, gruff cop with a heart of gold, world health organization likes Freakazoid & many more characters (soft by Ed Asner) Roddy MacStew, Freakazoid's wise man, expositionist, & camping teacher; an ill-bad-tempered Scotsman (soft by Craig Ferguson) who another time worked for Guitierrez Prof Jones, the bigheaded, fearful manservant (soft by Jonathan Harris, essentially recreating his role when Doctor Zachary Smith from Lost In Space; every period Jones appears within the scene, somebody asks him whenever he was "on a show with a robot") Steff, Freakazoid's buoyant light-haired girlfriend; very title is Stephanie Igmar, Freakazoid's mute manservant, within charge of the maintenance of the Freakalair. He quit to be the rodeo clown and was replaced by Professor Jones Joe Leahy a announcer, world health organization another time gets a little extra taking part than the average teller.

Other characters
Two or three characters fall someplace in the space between "enemies" & "allies" to land squarely in the category of "nuisances." Mo-Half-wit, the dimwitted alien voiced by Stan Freberg. His title was later on changed to Bo-B, apparently to appease network censors' concerns that apply of the word moron might be offence. Fanboy, an obese, acne-stricken, socially awkward fanboy (hence his name) & would-manque brother to Freakazoid world health organization obsesses astir many TV shows & moving picture, from either Mighty Morphin Power Rangers to Star Wars. Fanboy's age is never specified; he can be anywhere between his late teens to early thirties. Soft by Stephen Furst.

Mini-segments
Freakazoid! as well features many mini-segments, primarily when you took a foremost year. Both one develop their have theme songs, title cards & cast, & merely seldom "cross over" into a continuity of the independent indicate. These segments include: Lord Bravery, the John Cleese-esque superhero The Huntsman, a good guess at what Robin Hood would be rather in case pictured by Charlton Heston; he can never call for plenty crime to fight & secretly suspects that peradventure there come crimes which a constabulary are hiding from either him because it don't trust him. A Lawn Gnomes, the class action of lawn statuary that came to life when asleep within the parody of the Gargoyles animated series Toby Danger, the (somewhat) caring parody of Jonny Quest, featuring the voices of Scott Menville, Don Messick and Granville Van Dusen (all of whom provided voices for JQ) Fatman & Son Blubber, the mischance of ii morbidly corpulent superheroes, within a parody of the Batman TV series.

Other notes
A humor of the indicate relies heavy in slapstick, parody, and obscure ethnical information. Due to the deficiency of the proper fourth wall, much of these are self-self-conscious humor -- e.g., when a 1st appearance of the "Freakmobile," a indicate goes immediately into an spontaneously commercial message for a toy versiin; late in the episode, Freakazoid addresses an audience, congratulating the staff on how else firm it've worked to produce a indicate toyetic. The occasionally unknown running off gag involves the recurrent credit for "Weena Mercator as the Hopping Woman", though there are no such character appears in any episode.

In the pilot episode, Ricardo Mantalban threatens to torture Freakazoid applying worms that may enter through the ear, recalling his character of Khan from either Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.

A computer bug that gives Freakazoid his powers occurs as information to the Pentium FDIV bug.

Cameo appearances are the noteworthy feature of the indicate. At various days, Freakazoid! hosted appearances by characters from either more Warner Bros. cartoons like Pinky and the Brain and Animaniacs, when well as portrayals of numbers of celebrities (including producer Steven Spielberg) and guest appearances by such numbers when Jack Valenti, Leonard Maltin, Norm Abram, and Mark Hamill as themselves. the single original character, Emmitt Nervend, plays there are no role whatsoever differently enabling a ''Where's Waldo''-esque hunt for his constant cameos (complete with the number of his appearances announced in the closing credits).
